Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Nutz, Inc., Augustenstraße 29, 80333 Munich, Germany, a Delaware corporation (EIN 37-2189529), represented by Kagan Sumer, is responsible for processing your data. Contact: kagan@nutz.inc

Nutz is a WhatsApp agent for small business owners. You talk to Nutz on WhatsApp, and it helps with sales, letters, DMs, reviews, calls, ads and receipts.

2. What we collect

When you message us on WhatsApp: your phone number, WhatsApp profile name, and the messages, photos, documents and voice notes you send (for example letters, receipts or quotes).

What you tell us about your business: your name, company name and the details you share so Nutz can do the work.

If you connect accounts or channels to Nutz (for example your Google Business Profile, social media inbox or phone number): the data we need from them to do the tasks you ask for.

If you reach us through one of our ads: which ad you came from.

If you email us: your email address and message.

We do not collect payment data or send marketing emails.

3. Why we collect it

To provide the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

To measure and improve our ads (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in efficient advertising).

4. Who processes your data

We do not sell your data or share it with other third parties.

5. Data about your customers

Nutz only acts on your customers and contacts when you allow it, for example when it answers DMs, reviews or calls, or follows up on a quote for you. For that data you are the controller and we act as your processor under Art. 28 GDPR: we process it only on your instructions, keep it confidential, and delete it when you ask us to.

6. WhatsApp

Nutz runs on the WhatsApp Business Platform, provided by Meta. Meta transmits messages between you and Nutz on our behalf.

7. Advertising on Facebook and Instagram

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram with ads that open a WhatsApp chat with us. If you start a chat from an ad, Meta tells us which ad you came from. To measure and improve our ads, we may send Meta events from that chat, such as “conversation started” or “became a customer”, together with your phone number in hashed (encrypted) form via Meta's Conversions API. Meta matches these events to its users and reports aggregated results to us. You can object at any time by writing to kagan@nutz.inc; we then stop sending your events. For ad delivery and audience insights, we and Meta are joint controllers under Art. 26 GDPR. Meta's controller addendum and privacy policy are available on facebook.com.

8. Our Facebook Page and Instagram account

When you visit our Facebook Page or Instagram account, Meta processes your data and gives us anonymous statistics (Page Insights). We and Meta are joint controllers for this under Art. 26 GDPR, based on Meta's Page Insights addendum. You can exercise your rights with Meta directly or with us.

9. Cookies

This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies and no analytics.

10. Data transfers

We store our database in the EU. Meta, our AI model providers and some of our service providers may process data outside the EU, including in the USA. These transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses and, where the recipient is certified, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

11. Retention

We keep your data as long as you use Nutz. You can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to kagan@nutz.inc or telling Nutz on WhatsApp; we respond within 30 days.

12. Your rights (EU/EEA residents)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA).

13. Changes

If we change this policy materially, we will post the new version here with an updated date.
